This policy covers this website and purchases of our software. Each app also has its own privacy policy: SoundEQ · Private Weight Tracker · Bowls Score Pro.
Gear Shadow Games Limited ("we", "us") is the data controller for information we receive about you. Contact: contact@gearshadowgames.com.
This website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising and does not ask you to create an account. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the SoundEQ and Jukebox pages load Paddle's checkout script, which may set cookies needed to run the checkout.
Purchases are made through Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details, billing address and tax information under its own privacy policy. We never receive your card details.
Paddle shares with us your name, email address, country and order details. We use these only to:
The legal basis is performance of our contract with you and our legal obligations. We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (normally six years) and do not sell or share your information for marketing.
Jukebox does not include analytics, telemetry or advertising, and does not send your music library, playlists or settings to us. Your library, playlists, profiles, settings and licence key are stored locally on your computer in %APPDATA%\Jukebox. Licence keys are checked offline.
When you use YouTube features, Jukebox connects directly to YouTube (Google) to play videos through YouTube's official embedded player and to fetch video titles and thumbnails. That data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy, not by us.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Email contact@gearshadowgames.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
We will update this page and its "Last updated" date if this policy changes.
